Private Yoga For Women in Their 40s, 50s and 60s

In my private yoga classes for women, we can do poses and practices that you like to do. I can create sequences that meet you where you are on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. I will create a safe container for you so that you feel taken care of. Whatever kind of practice you need to come into better balance, I can provide. Typically private yoga classes with me focus on slow yoga where you are able to tune into proprioceptive and interoceptive awareness, leaving you calm and relaxed. I look forward to talking to you. Slow Yoga for Nervous System Resilience,

Saturdays, 8:30 am - 9:45 am and Thursdays, 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm.


   Slow, mindful yoga posture practice has health benefits (in addition to the usual exercise benefits) that can help to build resilience in the nervous system.  Slow yoga can enhance muscular strength, enhance flexibility, promote and improve respiratory and cardiovascular function and promote recovery from and treatment of addiction, reduce stress, anxiety and depression and chronic pain.   It can also improve sleep and more.  This class is great for women in their 40s, 50s and 60s who may feel stiff and need to stretch feel more at ease in their bodies.  Classes are intentionally small - limited to six students.  This class is great for those who feel intimidated by large community classes.  In my small group classes, I am able to give individual attention and modifications to all the students.  Since space is limited, RSVPs are required.  Call 301-482-2433 to reserve a space.  This is an on-going class, so if you wish to be added to my e-mail reminder list, text or call Betsy Paul at 301-482-2433.
