The Yoga That I Teach
No doubt you have seen yoga magazine pictures with men and women twisted into what look like impossible-to-get-into pretzel shapes. This is not the yoga that I practice or the yoga that I teach. I teach gentle forms of yoga that emphasize breath control to relax the mind; I teach gentle stretches that help to increase flexibility, build strength, and release stress, while at the same time moving in a slow flow of intentional movement to avoid injury.
